So, [livejournal.com profile] dotknocker and I went shopping this afternoon, including a trip to JoAnn's fabrics. And I saw some fleece fabric that was just crying out for me to do something with it. So, well, I did.

scarf

I have enough left to make a couple of throw pillows. Or more scarves, if I start a trend or something.

That's fabulous. Are you going to fill it in? (A little embroidery?)

Yay! It is so awesome that you get a craft idea and then just...do it. It usually takes me months, if not years, to actually get around to making something I want to make. I bow to your superior crafty *and* motivational skillz. :)

So the designer for Hasty Pudding just did her presentation for us last week -- she showed us all her sketches and fabrics so we would know what we're doing when we build the costumes. Among the fabrics was this really elegant subtle black-and-white reversible jacquard... in the pattern of jigsaw puzzle pieces!

But your fabric find is definitely more appropriate. Neat! :)
