Nope, didn't get rid of all the spyware. Got something that reinstalls itself when I get online. AdAware couldn't remove it. Help?

ETA: Spybot crashed my computer (bluescreen) in the middle of trying to remove whatever's there, as it did yesterday.

Is there any way to disable IE, so I don't have to deal with the constant updating of this thing, at least?

Have you tried running your spyware in safe mode?

yeah boot in safe mode and run your anti-spyware program

Have you tried uninstalling IE? (Isn't it supposed to be unbundleable these days?)

And make sure you're getting a good thorough virus scan in there too. Just in case it's a bit more embedded than you think.
