Just when I thought it was all done.

My computer can't find its DVD-ROM drive. It's the first time I've tried to use the drive since the spyware debacle of the other weekend. I fear I accidentally removed something I shouldn't have, or that something got messed up during one of the crashes. I tried reinstalling the driver, but it didn't help.

Anyone got any ideas?

*sigh*

(In happier news, I ran a mile on the treadmill today. I don't think I've run a mile without stopping in 20 years.)

My apologies. I was in a hurry. It will detect your drive and let you download the right firmware for it, which generally *should* get Windows to wake up and acknowledge it.
