They grow up so fast.
Jun. 5th, 2008 09:34 amMy younger cousin wasn't even two years old when I started college. I can still see her as a curly-headed toddler doing her best to pull me into a room to introduce me to her neighbors, burbling, "It's Kafrin! It's Kafrin!"
Today, she graduates from Harvard.
Hard to believe. But good for you, Amelia.

Date: 2008-06-05 06:06 pm (UTC)My big Joanna memory is that one night when I was nine I got sent to my room for fighting with my sibs at the dinner table. As I stomped up the stairs, I heard the phone ring. A minute later, my mom yelled for me to come back. I didn't, at first, because I thought I was being called back to endure further lecturing about not fighting. So she yelled that no, it's good news, my aunt was on the phone from Seattle and I was going to be a cousin. :)
