saxikathI should do a proper update, and talk about my trip to Las Vegas and environs last weekend. (Short version: the Vegas Strip, Hoover Dam, Valley of Fire, and Death Valley are all awe-inspiring in their own different ways. Absolute silence is spooky. And I am not the target audience for Las Vegas.)
