Questions from drdemure

1) You have one of the finest minds I've ever encountered. What do you think is/was your greatest idea?
Well, thank you. :) I don't think I've had any real "great ideas," though; my mind is very quick at absorbing and understanding, but less good, I feel, at coming up with something new and important. I think several story ideas I have rattling around my brain are pretty good, but I haven't actually done anything with them.
2) Who was the greatest composer of all known history and why?
Good grief, I can't answer that! There are so many great ones. But in terms of prodigiousness of ideas and output, and influence on others, probably Mozart.
3) Do you still believe in true love?
Sort of. I think it's extremely rare, but it does happen. My parents' divorce a few years back after 33 years of marriage soured my view of love, but my grandparents' marriage still going strong after 63 years gives me hope.
4) What do you think is currently the greatest threat to the perpetuation of the human species?
Our own arrogance towards ourselves and each other. If we were better at admitting our own wrongs and forgiving other people's, we'd be a lot better off.
5) If you could be anywhere in the world right now, for any reason, where would it be and why would you go there?
The top of Trail Ridge Road in Rocky Mountain National Park, because it's beautiful and remote and doesn't have anything to do with the work I should be doing.
