A weekend's ramblings.

Hey, Ruddigore people out there in lj-land?
You rock.
Great shows this weekend, even the one in which I filled in as Lord High Substitute chorister. I'm really pleased with how the show has turned out. As someone once said to me, I'd be proud of it if it were really mine to be proud of. The cast has worked very hard, and it shows. I strongly encourage everyone who hasn't seen it yet to come next weekend (Thursday and Friday nights and Saturday afternoon).
I actually got sleep this weekend. This is a good thing.
I didn't get much done on the Enigma, which is bad. Mostly, when I wasn't at MIT, I was playing silly computer games. But I guess even a vocal director/puzzle editor gets a weekend off once in a while! I did write my post-event letter for Legends, finally. Which isn't exactly a real-world obligation, but is something I've been meaning to do.
Oh, and I bought sugar, which I'd been out of.

Date: 2003-11-09 07:57 pm (UTC)I was wondering-- I've never seen/heard Ruddigore, so I don't know if it'd be a good one to use as an introduction to Gilbert and Sullivan. Calluna's never heard any of them, you see.
