Quiet day.

Apologies to the Ruddigore people out there for missing the party. I came home from work with a sore throat and a bad attitude, and decided that staying curled up on the couch was a better bet than trying to be social. I slept late, and feel better for it.

For the first time in a really long time, I have a weekend with no scheduled obligations. I need to do laundry, and work on the Enigma, and do some other stuff, but my time is my own. How lovely.

The party was pretty low-key, lots of tired people lying around. Pleasant, though.
I just came back from Iolanthe in Carlisle with Rebecca. The production left something to be desired, but Goddess what great music! Art was there too, and loaned me his video of The Grand Duke. Goody goody!!

meranthi and I didn't go either, and we were really close by (aka, no good excuse) except that we were tired and she had to finish packing.

I am hoping this week is a little lower on the excite-o-meter.
