So I slept too late to get one bus, the next one came early so I missed it, I ate too much junk food, I'm working very unproductively, and I've just generally been out of sorts all day, so I could use some cheering up. Thus, a meme from kightp.

i ate some homemade french toast (with french bread, custardy and good!), took the baby for a walk and bought a beautiful bouquet of flowers from a local florist who i'd been afraid was going out of business but wasn't, have all the windows on the upper floor open because it's sunny and cool and NOT humid for once, and read a wonderfully kind and encouraging comment in my LJ (someone who is a published novelist, newspaper editor and magazine publisher praised my meager writing skills on a day when i felt like all i was good for was washing diapers and sweeping floors, and not doing a particularly good job at that).
